Dennis has been on staff at Trinity since 2001 and has overseen the Fellows Ministry since its founding in 2003. He also helped to launch the national umbrella to fellows programs called The Fellows Initiative. The Fellows Ministry is largely a ministry of discerning God’s vocational leading in the marketplace, the academy, and the public square, and it is also concerned with forming people for service in the local church. As an extension to the Fellows Ministry, Dennis helps to build a culture at Trinity of honoring the everyday work of all people, and forming men and women to see their daily work as a way of worshiping God and ushering in the “restoration of all things” as found in the redemptive work of Christ whereby Christ is “making all things new.”
A graduate of the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, Dennis has lived and worked all over the world from Europe to Australia and was previously in the business world and in student ministries. Dennis and his wife and children love Charlottesville and Trinity, and they love welcoming people to this community and to this church family.
